By the Light of the Silvery Moon

The sky was pretty clear, moon beaming brightly this morning when I went out to shovel. Yesterday started out with snow and ended with sleet and rain. So, there was a nice crust on top. Most notably when I went out this morning was that it was almost balmy! The temp was like 35 degrees. And I was dressed for the tundra. Needless to say, I was sweating my butt off by the time I was done. The temps also melted a lot of the snow so shoveling was quite a chore. Each shovel full weighed 50 pounds I swear! So, I did my driveway and walks and then did my neighbors. There wasn't any way a snow blower was getting through this stuff and I wasn't letting them shovel the heavy snow.

I suspect in about an hour, I'm going to need a nap and some Advil!

Today is day two of the feeding frenzy. My manager takes the entire unit out for lunch. Today we're going to The Macaroni Grill. Maybe I can get a nap in before the festivities tonight celebrating the birth of our dear Findley! Tomorrow night I have another party. I swear, I don't usually party this much. Really!

I've been in "tropical state of mind" lately. I just started reading A Salty Piece of Land by Jimmy Buffet and listen to Radio Margaritaville while I'm at work. Kinda makes one forget it's chilly and snowy outside.

Have a great Friday everyone!

Buffett definitely takes you to another place.

Might I also recommend the South Park Christmas CD. Get such classics as Cartman's "Swiss Colony Beef Log" and "What The Hell Child Is This" by Chef.

Snow shovel, snow shovel, make me a pile

Find me a walk

Catch me a drift

Now that you're shoveled out, you can make your way over to Target and shop guilt free. Maybe buy yourself some more Jimmy! As long as they stand by their word, they will not make the list!

I like Macaroni Grill. Prefer Olive Garden. Do ya'll have those in Pennsylvania?

We have the Olive Garden....and if I had my pick I'd choose the Olive Garden. Didn't like Macaroni. Perhaps it was the people I was with. Bunch of freaking pain in the a$$es...Geez! I would like to sit around the bar at the fire though. Bone, will you meet me there?

I dunno. Do you have any days with no party scheduled? ;-)
