As expected this is what I woke up to this morning:
This resulted in about an hour's worth of shovelling at 6:00 a.m. this morning in order for me to be able to get out of my driveway. I of course attempted to shovel my neighbors walk but was promptly told by my neighbor to stop! So, I finished their front steps which prompted the delivery of homemade blueberry muffins at my door when I returned home this evening. YUM!
In case you are unfamiliar with these tracks, they are from a very illusive creature known only to these parts. The greater northeastern snow cat!
And of course, by the time I got home, I wasn't able to pull in my driveway because the big, yellow monsters that remove the snow plow the driveways shut again with compacted snow.
But anyway, all the walks are cleared and the roads too for that matter. I'm cold but I'm home and don't see any need to go any where else.

You should take a close up of a track and send it in to... someone.
Thanks for the pics. Wish it would snow here.
One of the few reasons I'm happy I live in an apt instead of a house is, I used to be in charge of shoveling the snow. I remember one time, in high school, I spent four hours trying to get the stupid driveway shovelled. We lived on a hill, so the half of the drive near the street was very steep. But, our garage had settled about a foot down, so the second half was angled towards the house. There was about two feet of snow, and my mom and sister refused to help. My dad was at work about 15 miles away. That so sucked.
awww. that looks so beautiful. i want to live somewhere where they have seasons!
snow blower baby. and that is one cool cat. most of em won't get out on it like that.
Hey, that's MY cat! It's PUDDY reborn. After 15+ years, in the snow, she finally came back!
Come here Puddy. It's so cold outside!!!
That's it, I need a beer! :-)
