Help!

One of the cats was laying on the keyboard and now everything comes up with a huge font size. The resolution from the control panel is 1024X768. What do I do to get it changed back?

It could be two things. If you are using IE as your browser, under the View menu, there is an option for Text Size that leads to another sub-menu for Largest/Larger/Medium/Smaller/Smallest. (Um. So not going there.)

Or, bring up your desktop (minimize all windows) and right-click your mouse. Select the Properties option on this menu. Then go to the Settings tab. Move the slider under the Screen Resolution section and then click OK.

I'd try the IE thing first.

Ok, it's weird. It's only the blogger stuff that's really big. Web sites, emails, etc. are all normal size.

I adjusted the resolution and the stuff is still big. All the blog stuff is out of order because the font is too big! NO CATS ON THE KEYBOARD!

Weird. Damn cats. That's why I have dogs. ;)

Do cats like spam? ;)

I know nothing about it--but our IT guy says "turn it off and turn it back on!" It works 90% of the time.

Yep, the old reboot usually works. I've had it off and back on, not helping. Hmmmm, there's got to be an easy solution. Lemme get the cat back up here and see if he can undo it.

Scott, I Lester types like that too!

Mission accomplished! I contacted Dell through a chat--no waiting like on the phone. Did a system restore and that took care of the problem!

It took a system restore to fix it? That usually wipes out any software you have installed. Did it? Kind of extreme to fix a font issue..

It did take off my Photoshop which really irritates me. It didn't mess with anything else. I am ignorant enough about this that I didn't even question it.
